If you get a notification earlier in the month you can calculate if extra bandwidth will be required. Extra bandwidth can be purchased if required
If you regularly find yourself requiring extra bandwidth, you also have the option of upgrading your account. This can be done at any time, there are no penalties for upgrading your account and the payment will be worked out pro-rata for your existing account.

I uploaded my pages, but still only see the default AUSWEB splash page
Q : I uploaded my pages, but still see the default FASTdot splash page?
There are a few possible answers
1. The default page is stuck in a cache and you aren't seeing the new content yet. Try refreshing your browser a few times. If that doesn't update the page, call it specifically by typing http://www.yourdomain.com.au/index.html.
2. The Fastdot splash page is called index.php. If your uploaded homepage is called index.htm you need to delete the index.php spalsh page.
3. Check you have uploaded your files to the correct directory. The main website is at the /public_html directory.

Accessing your account via its URL
Accessing your account via its URL
If you've just signed up, chances are you've begun the process of a domain transfer to our servers. In all likelihood, it will take anywhere from 48 to 72 hours for all worldwide DNS records to reflect you domain name as pointing to our servers. While everything in our welcoming email refers to the domain you signed up, we recommended you use the accompanying "IP" number until you can verify your domain is actually answering to your new account on our servers.

Uploading or downloading an entire website, or a large number of files simultaneously, can use a lot of a server’s system/network resources. FASTdot’s servers, like most web servers, are all set to limit the amount of simultaneous connections to prevent system overloads and any adverse affects on other clients while files are being transferred.

Firstly : Please do not make your password too simple !
Protect your password:
Don't write down your password, memorize it. In particular, don't write it down and leave it anywhere, and don't place it in an unencrypted file! Use unrelated passwords for systems controlled by different organizations. Don't give or share your password, in particular to someone claiming to be from computer support or a vendor unless you are sure they are who they say they are. Don't let anyone watch you enter your password. Don't enter your password on a computer you don't trust. Use the password for a limited time and change it periodically.
